"Went here for the first time on New Years eve. Food was good but very chaotic. Will try again in the future. Lots of good menu choices with extensive wine, beer and drink list. Was very loud with a band in the bar area (to be expected on New Years)."See more
"Tavern on the Wharf was a pleasant surprise. The menu was extensive. Looked like it would also be a great place for lunch as s number of things were in the lighter side. 2 members of our party had the seafood casserole which was lauded with seafood in a tasty and not too heavy sauce. Cake with green beans (a little over cooked) and several lingering potatoes. We asked for some butter for them and it never arrived but otherwise service was good. I had the lobster and asparagus risotto which was tasty but which could have used a bit more of each ad the rice got boring. Our final person had the fish tacos which she said were very good. Dessert menu looked interesting but we were all too full. Maybe next time. They were playing trivia at the bar which would have been distracting if we had been sitting any closer. Would definitely go back again and try out some of the other menu options."See more
"The ambiance was lovely. The restaurant featured white table linens and mood lighting. The food was delicious. My husband and I began with the antipasto salad and an appetizer of rolled eggplant and cheese, cheese raviolis and meaty meatballs. We each ordered the gnocchi pasta dish, mine with shrimp and my husband ordered his with chicken. We enjoyed every last bite!"See more
