- CClayVIPOrange County •368 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoSince we went to the Atlantis Steakhouse (ASH) at the Atlantis Casino in Reno the night prior to going to Hell's Kitchen in Tahoe, I'll compare the two. The tables at the ASH had white tablecloths and HK had hard wood tables that weren't that attractive. On the table at ASH a ramakin of multicolored special finishing salts awaited, at HK. I asked for salt at HK and was handed a steel saltshaker. At ASH they gave us a breadbasket and butter and we didn't get anything like that at HK. We ordered the foie gras at both restaurants and the portion at ASH was larger and I liked it better (my wife might have given the sauce the edge at HK but she preferred the larger portion at ASH and preferred it overall. For dinner at ASH my wife had the lamb chops and said they were perfectly cooked. She loved the sauce on the Jidori chicken at HK but commented that it was still chicken and so she wouldn't get it again. I had the prime rib at ASH which was an excellent piece of meat and liked it much better than the short rib I had at HK (the amount of fat cap on the prime rib was amazing and delicious). Also, we both loved the whipped potatoes much, much better at ASH than we liked the potatoes at HK. Then, much to our surprise, at no additional charge, at ASH they gave us both a large, individually wrapped, piece of coffee cake which we ate the next morning at our hotel and absolutely loved! Overall, we would go back to the Atlantis Steakhouse again and again but we will never go to another Hell's Kitchen unless a friend were to tell us that things have changed drastically.More infoGordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen - Lake Tahoe Harveys Resort Hotel & CasinoPrice: Very Expensive• American• Stateline•4.6
- SStewartSacramento / Sacramento Valley •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAs a repeat diner at The Tin Lantern, I know my favorites and tend to order them often. I was taken by surprise when the server mentioned they had baked potatoes as an option, and two of our party of four ordered them. Our drinks were delicious, with great selections of wine by the glass. Everything was tasty, prepared perfectly and served beautifully. I had the macadamia nut encrusted Mahi Mahi, which was tender and juicy with crisp coating and a savory sauce (which I requested on the side) perfectly cooked bright green broccoli florets and summer squash as a side. My friends ordered the lasagna (superb) and the salmon dish, sautéed with care and featuring a caper sauce. It was a memorable experience, and the visitors we hosted were eager to return another time and explore more of the menu.More infoThe Tin Lantern Bar and GrillPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Auburn•4.8

- DDaniellePhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined on Apr 21, 2025The host was great, John our waiter was amazing. The food was excellent and I loved the private booth and curtain. It made our experience even more special. The lamb shank was tender, the filet mignon was okay. The escargot was the best my boyfriend has ever had that flaky crust was so buttery. The drinks were on point and so was the staff. Thank you for making my birthday dinner special.More infoCiera Steak and Chophouse - Bally's Lake TahoePrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Stateline•4.8
