Love the shrimp and grits, an ample portion. Smoky flavor with large juicy prawns. Great mocktail choices. The servers were attentive with good recommendations. Very accommodating to my disabled spouse. Also, the oversized free dessert for my husband’s birthday was delicious and appreciated. Very good view of the waterfront. This was a good value for our money & time. We shall return.

The water view was excellent from inside the restaurant while seated near a window. During the warmer months the outdoor seating looks to be excellent. The food quality and selections were great. Our server, Christina, was excellent! I would recommend this restaurant.

Excellent service! The food is always fresh, the bartender makes an excellent French 75. It’s a must dine location in Annapolis.

The Best Restaurant in Kent County Maryland and one of the Best on the Eastern Shore. Our go to restaurant since 1993. I'm just a broken record. The menu is always exciting, different, enticing and the results of your choice is delicious, nicely presented, good portions, great service, great drink, and great wine. Add being on the water, around boats, masts and beautiful grounds begs the question, "Why go anywhere else."

We love The Retriever! The atmosphere is cozy, the service is great, and the food is delicious!
