Excellent service, food and cocktails as always. Never disappoints.

Siena Norwalk at the Watershed is one of those hidden gems. I discovered it by chance about six months ago, trying to locate a convenient restaurant to accomodate a mutual lunch meeting with friends from lower Fairfield County. Wow, were we surprised and pleased. The service is impeccable. The ambiance is great - especially in warmer weather when they open the sliders to the outside. Just lovely. The food is FABULOUS - something for everyone. The Prix Fixe menu for lunch is more than terrific. They even made special efforts to provide a gluten free meal for our Celiac suffering friend. Perfect. I'm almost reluctant to make a big deal about this wonderful restaurant as I don't want to compete for a reservation, but if you haven't tried it, you're missing a very pleasant, enjoyable experience. Five stars from me (and I'm picky).

We went for quite an early dinner. When Miguel, our waiter, carded my daughter, he noticed it was her birthday. After the meal, he brought out a sparkler on top of a dish of ice cream. what a nice surprise and so great. The food was delish all the way through. We had bunches of appetizers and a couple of salads. So yummy.

We had a very pleasant experience on Mother's Day at the Inn. While we felt that the service could've been more attentive and the food could've been a much better value, we were also paying for the ambiance, and that did not disappoint. Overall, while this wasn't an amazing experience, we had a very fine time, and we might even return (on a non-holiday).

I took my mom for Mother’s Day at Gates Restaurant in New Canaan and expected to be expensive but in surprise was reasonable and the food was delicious so we had a great time and enjoyed the day with ease with the family in a friendly clean low noise atmosphere. The waiter helped us with some choices and we left happy and full.
