From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone—upscale, romantic, and perfect for a first date. Dim lighting, cozy seating, and just the right amount of buzz made it feel both intimate and lively. Let’s talk about the food. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was next-level—creamy, rich, and loaded with tender chunks of lobster. I followed it with the 12 oz New York Strip, cooked to perfection and topped with an incredible au poivre sauce that added the perfect peppery bite. One of the most memorable touches was the bread service, served with a tallow and butter candle—yes, an actual candle made of rich, meltable deliciousness. Such a fun and flavorful detail. To sip, I had the Mexican 75, a fresh, citrusy cocktail with a little sparkle and spice—definitely a new favorite. Service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, and every detail felt thoughtfully curated. I will absolutely be back. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just looking for a great night out, this spot is a must.More infoSteak & Bourbon - DowntownPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• West Louisville•4.8
