American Reserve is a great experience that is topped only by the Reno Club downstairs. Great service, bar selections and menu , top to bottom this restaurant located in the Ambassador Hotel is a hidden gem in Kansas City. It will not disappoint.

Fantastic sushi. Always fresh and creatively prepared. Great ambiance and a fun place to dine.

Lonnie's is a great place to celebrate with real Kansas City jazz and history. We will always plan to return there on a regular basis. We were disappointed at how Open Table handled our reservation. Price was quoted at $60+ per person. The actual charge was $115 per person plus an added 20% Service Charge with no explanation as to what that charge was supposed to cover. I would appreciate some up front communication as to what actual charges are going to be and will probably book directly with the club from here out.

Haven't been to the Savoy since it switched to a Tapestry by Hilton property. It looks like they are doing everything right to bring back a little more of the history to the hotel. The food was outstanding! I have never had a bad or even mediocre meal here! May, our go to server, was her usual fantabulous! Van, the F&B Director was engaging and filled us in on what's coming! I had the carbonara which is their take on it, it had an orange zest in the sauce, homemade pasta and crispy little nuggets of bacon, very good! My friend had the Norwegian trout with artichokes and it was equally delicious! The rolls are ALWAYs a must and the hot honey butter was and excellent addition! If you haven't been to the Savoy recently you need to go! Not many places like this left in the city!

I ordered the Margarita Ziti and the sauce was terrific! It was super delicious.
