Restaurants near Kalkaska Station

This would be an excellent restaurant anywhere but with such a wonderful view and location we truly enjoyed our experience. The food was prepared perfectly and every bite was delicious. The wine list, while not very extensive, is well curated and has good options at any price level. And the views from the restaurant and patio add to the wonderful nautical atmosphere.

I went to Artisan with my fiancé and another couple. We had an exceptional meal with exceptional service. Two of us had the pork chops and two of us had the shrimp pasta with vodka sauce. The shrimp was delicious and the pork chops were to die for; absolutely mouthwatering. Our server was great and even gave us a little complimentary champagne. People were constantly coming around refilling waters and cleaning up crumbs. The restaurant itself, which is located inside a hotel, is clean and contemporary. It is spacious but quiet. I have been to a lot of restaurants, and Artisan was one of the top dining experiences I have had.

Connie took great care of us ! Her food recommendations were amazing! The view was spectacular and felt great to slow down and enjoy great food, atmosphere, and family! I will definitely make a plan to return !

Our server was Nate, he was fantastic! Very helpful with suggestions and was very spot on. We were able to be seated earlier than our reservation which was appreciated. The over all experience was wonderful
