We had a wonderful evening celebrating Nana' s birthday at the Grill Room. Our waiter Huleo was incredible. What an asset to you team, he helped make our evening even more special. We look forward to our next gathering at the Grill.

David's Restaurant was excellent. Even though the restaurant isn't large, they were able to accommodate our party of 10 without any issues. Our entire party enjoyed the many appetizers we tried - highly recommend the baked brie, garlic knots and truffle fries. The shrimp cocktail was almost as big as our hands. The meals were delicious and cooked perfectly. Our server Liz was awesome and very attentive. We'll definitely be back to try their other menu offerings including the Brussel sprouts - we saw those go by and they looked amazing. We highly recommend David's!

First time we have gone here in years! Meet our daughter for a dinner for 3 before a show. All the food was awesome and very reasonably priced. I think we found a new Italian restaurant to put in our rotation as they also had plenty of great gluten free options for my wife. Thanks for a great start to our night

While we’ve occasionally had dinner at David’s in Portland, my husband and I just had our first dinner at David’s 388 in South Portland. We loved our meals; taste, amount and combination of foods was in our view perfect. Dishes were creative, but not over-the-top decorative. Had a beautifully tasting appetizer and a seafood entree that was one of the evening’s specials. We enjoyed every bite. Even though it was already full and busy by 5:30pm on a Thursday after Labor Day (Do book a table!), servers were friendly and attentive throughout.

We started with the cheese board and cocktails. A great way to kick off the evening. Each of the four of us then tried different first and main courses - no complaints! The Caprese Salad was the standout first course. All the pasta dishes were well-received too, from pesto to mushroom to seafood -- all great. Ended with cappuccinos and shared desserts. I loved the cookie plate. Have been to Solo a few times and will keep coming back.
