There was an issue with the speaker system, so no music. The waiter said that even when it is working, they don't play Irish music.

The gluten-free menu is sizable, and the pasta was prepared perfectly! I mentioned my friend's birthday and the need for gluten-free in our reservation, and both were handled well. We received the menus from the start, and every staff member we spoke with said happy birthday!

This was a special occasion for my wife and myself, our 52nd wedding anniversary. The atmosphere, our server, the meals and everything was perfect. We enjoyed a beautiful view of the sun setting in the west over the Mississippi River. Every once in a while we would observe a train going either North or South in the horizon by the river too far to hear but so peaceful to observe. This is truly our favorite restaurant in the Galena, IL Area.
