Named after our daughter Grace, along with the idea that a steakhouse can be graceful, whimsical, and elegant without being dark and moody. What started as a vision to keep the vibe light and airy while letting the outside in, has turned into an Award-winning design of which we couldn't be prouder. This menu is truly meant to offer something for everyone, with often found steakhouse features as well as a plethora of seafood to truly highlight the best of the gulf and beyond. Prime, Dry Aged and local Wagyu cuts of beef in 4 to 40 oz. portions are available to satisfy any sized appetite. Innovative cocktails and wines from around the world top it all off -making Guard and Grace the place to be for happy hour, a couple's night out or your private event. Our family, or Ohana, is a passionate group of culinary obsessives who strive to make memories that will last a lifetime. Houston is a special city that has stolen our hearts, and from the bottom of them, we thank you for joining us.

Overall we enjoyed ourselves but having to constantly ask for more pizza bread got old really fast. We had 3 servings for 4 people but each time took asking multiple people multiple times for more. Also should have asked if we wanted more drinks a-lot sooner. We ended up going to a different bar afterwards. We loved new location although dinning room was quite loud, but our food was excellent . We will be back.

What a great dining experience! Rockin’ crowd with an urban chíc vibe. The cocktails, food, and wine options were great. Our martinis were expertly blended. The deviled eggs and avocado dip & chips appetizers were out of this world. Our Chicken Parm entree was absolutely delicious, and to top off the meal, the chocolate cake was delectable and creamy. The icing on the cake was our amazing server. She was polite, quick on her feet, had an expert knowledge of the menu, and made great recommendations. The interior of Houston's Hudson House is described as cozy, upscale, and inviting, with a nautical vibe and a blend of dark woods and polished brass. Some say the lighting is carefully curated to balance warmth and sophistication. The restaurant's decor includes: - Wood-paneled walls - Chinese ginger-jar lamps - Navy-blue banquettes - Brass light fixtures - Greenery - Art Hudson House is a must visit when you’re in Houston, and a regular hangout for locals that enjoy more than a touch of class.

We loved the service and attention to detail. The menu options were perfection! Bite size blue point oysters were perfect, wedge salad was as I expected but with the bacon cubes it was over the top. THE BEEF WELLINGTON was perfection. Perfectly medium rare and delightful delicious crust. My husband searches for Chilean Sea Bass cooked to perfection. They knocked it out of the park. The size was that of a buttery filet and he was thoroughly impressed.
