Restaurants near Howard Johnson - Warrenton

We have been to the Bistro several times. Tonight we arrived early and had a cocktail at the upstairs bar before dinner. Talked with Shawn, the owner, and got recommendations for the meal. I had the BBQ Plater Special and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE!

Besides the wonderful food offerings, the entire staff at Claire's aims to please--and they succeed The warm berry mix with vanilla ice cream last night was certainly tasty, but we were puzzled as to why it was called a "crisp." We make crisps at home often and they always have and oats-brown sugar-butter topping.

Excellent attentive service and delicious food as always. It was the first time trying the prime rib and it, along with the fresh veggies, was very enjoyable.

The grounds at Airlie are gorgeous! And Harry’s has a lot of potential- the menu offered variety however a large section, the burgers, was unavailable at the time of our meal. Our waiter worked hard but struggled having to run up and downstairs for all our food/drinks and the seating was small, truly only accommodating 2 families who wanted to play topgolf during their meal. The topgolf is a great feature although it the price structure was confusing and playing was filled with glitches and the game freezing. To the extent where it was offered to us without charge. We would like to come back to dine downstairs at Harry’s and enjoy the grounds of Airlie, but will most likely pass at the Top golf experience.

We sat outside. View is beautiful. Had a burger and onion rings. It was delicious and the service was great.
