Great restaurant...many steps to reach the rooftop dining area, but worth it for the view and the coolness of the evening. BUT...if you can't climb a circular staircase and many stairs, select a different restaurant.Very loud music came from a neighborhood bar, but it is in the middle of a loud city, so it was to be expected. Food is great! Staff is very nice, service is slow, but the food is worth the wait.

We’ve been coming to Oaxaca for years, but this was our first time at Casa Hidalgo. What a great place! I can’t believe we didn’t find out about this restaurant earlier. We went for breakfast and it was an excellent experience in every respect. We will definitely be adding this one to our regular rotation!
