"The food was good and the service seemed great until we finished our meals. My friend’s bill was just over $37.00. She had 1 $40.00 gift card and 2 more gift cards that she thought were $10.00 each. She put all 3 cards in the check folder along with $12.00 cash for the tip. My friend was hoping that the server would be able to tell her exactly what the balance was on the cards. She puts the equivalent of $72.00 in the check folder.
The server brings my check folder back with my change but not my friend’s check folder. We get back to talking and realize the she still didn’t get her receipt. My friend went to the manager and asked for her receipt. The server came to the table empty handed. She said that the cards paid the check and my friend shouldn’t worry as the bill was covered. I asked the server directly “You mean to tell me that all of her cards paid the check exactly? Nothing left over on the cards?” She assured us that the cards paid out evenly. My friend wanted to see this applied to the check. After awhile, she was presented a receipt with 3 different entries, we assumed that each amount was to represent a card balance.
My friend insisted to me that something was not right. We left the restaurant. She said that she had the receipt for the $40.00 card at home and would check the balance on line. My friend checked the balance two hours later and it showed $40.00 still on the card. She immediately called the manager and was told that two of the cards were empty so the server must have used the $40.00 card to pay the check.
My friend plans to report this incident to Red Lobster corporate. She believes the two $10.00 cards were used towards the check and someone took the $40.00 card."See more

"Really enjoyed my linguine with red clam sauce. Lots of clams, rich red tomato sauce and great pasta. After linguine was gone, lots of chopped clams and sauce left in bottom of dish that I gladly soaked up with bread and finished with a spoon. I recommend trying the linguine with red clam sauce."See more
