Fabulous lunch for my aunts 80th birthday! The food, attentiveness, ambiance and service were absolutely first class. I cannot fault anything and it was a wonderful afternoon out. The birthday dessert complete with candle was the perfect finishing touch. Thank you!

We visited the Royal Oak twice during our recent stay on Exmoor. Jane is a fabulous host; very welcoming and kind and nothing is too much trouble. The food was delicious and it was a treat for my husband and son to have more gluten and milk free choices available than in most restaurants. All in all a great find and we will definitely return next time we are in the area.
