We went to Chop House Tavern to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary and came away decided that the establishment will become our go-to restaurants for special occasions--and probably even some ordinary days that we want to make special. Everything was top of the line: the ambience, saving possible the noise level, was elegant yet subdued; the staff was knowledgeable, charming and very kind; the libations--and we are cocktail people--were some of the best ever; and the cuisine was marvelous, simply marvelous, from the star of the show, the perfect rare ribeye, to the entire supporting cast, the focaccia, the asparagus, the mashed potatoes, the cranberry-orange sorbet. So here's to Chop House Tavern: Live long and prosper!

A wonderful experience. The quality of the service and ambience complement the food. A wide variety of appetizers, salads and small plates provides multiple options. We shared an app and 2 of the 4 of us combined small plates that were interesting rather than an entree. All of us had an outstanding experience. They have maintained their standards for at least 40 years, an incredible achievement.

Our entire experience was absolutely excellent! I also have celiac disease and there were a plethora of options and they take pride in their dedicated fryer to ensure safety. If ever in the area, we will definitely return!

We have dined at the Farmhouse lots of times but this particular night was exceptional - from the service to the menu choices - a perfect evening. Thank you, Chef and all of the staff at the Farmhouse at Veritas for making that happen for us.

Fantastic place atmosphere was amazing very relaxing. Food was outstanding service was unbelievable fantastic for first time and an anniversary night is a private.
