An absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish — easily one of the best days Lisa and I have had this year eating out. The Crown Inn at Chiddingfold is the perfect blend of charm, character, and class. From the moment we stepped in, we were made to feel welcome and looked after without it ever feeling forced or overdone. The building itself is a beauty — full of old English warmth, low beams, cosy nooks, and that genuine countryside feel that so many places try to fake and fall short on. This place has it. The atmosphere was relaxed but vibrant, and the team working the floor were friendly, switched-on, and clearly proud of where they work — and rightly so. Now to the food. Absolutely spot on. Each course was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. You could taste the quality in every bite. And it wasn’t just the food — even the wine list was thoughtfully put together and reasonably priced for the standard. Nothing felt rushed, nothing felt out of place. Just pure enjoyment. We left feeling full, happy, and already talking about when we’d be back. A proper treat of a place that delivers on every level — food, service, location, and atmosphere. Hats off to the team and the chef. The Crown Inn has got something very special going on. Highly, highly recommended.

Had the Bottomless Roast. Superb. Veggies catered for. My teenager wanted a burger (not on the menu) and they happily made this for him. Service great. Some music would have been a nice touch. Will be back for this for sure. ☺️

Nice Italian restaurant in Haslemere. Good pizza and pasta. Italian music. Friendly servers. Much better than ASK and Pizza Express.
