Dined for a business dinner with a group of eight- we sat at a circular table and had the best time! Our server, Steven, was outstanding and the service was phenomenal. The food and wine were delicious, and the ambiance was beautiful (especially around Christmas). Highly recommend!

Love Filomena Ristorante! It is our “go-to” for special occasion dinners. They offer more than just a meal—they deliver an experience steeped in tradition, warmth, and culinary excellence. From the moment you step inside, the old-world charm envelops you. The Christmas décor is beautiful and sets a nice festive ambiance for the holidays. We started our meal with the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, the Crab Purse and Meatballs (a must have on each visit). All were delicious and we would not hesitate to order again. The main courses were equally spectacular—the Linguini Cardinale, loaded with fresh seafood and a decadent cream sauce, is a masterpiece, the Veal Chop, which melts in your mouth, and the Tortelloni Di Michele, a luscious brisket stuffed pillow with a wonderful mushroom sauce. We highly recommend all three of these dishes. The perfect end to such a delicious meal is any of their exceptional desserts.The Filomena Cannoli is a showstopper, as is any of their cheesecakes or the Tres Leches cake. Pair it with a robust espresso or enjoy with the provided Sambuca or Amaretto. The service at Filomena is second to none. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring every guest feels like family. Whether it’s a romantic evening, a celebratory dinner, or just a casual night out, they make every moment special.

Superb dining experience. Excellent service - friendly and pleasant, but not at all intrusive. Always there if we needed something, but not interfering at all. Nice pacing of food. Two of us shared seven small plates - beet salad, kolokitokeftedes and shrimp dish were standouts, but everything was quite good. We were so full we hesitated on dessert, but were glad in the end we chose to share the warm chocolate cake with mastic ice cream. A nice Greek take on vanilla ice cream that really complemented the cake. Turkish coffee was excellent and delivered in style. We weren't rushed, we loved the dining experience and ambiance and will be happy to return.

Reuniting with a former colleague, I felt satisfied that the menu (gluten-free, etc.) would please her—and it did. The thoughtful wait staff members were attentive but not hovering. We both enjoyed the soups and salads and even lingered over cups of cappuccino. The week prior, I enjoyed a similar experience with another out of town friend. Well done!

Good breakfast and brunch spot. Nothing fancy but consistent. I’ve never had dinner but my daughter has gotten food to go and said it’s pretty good. Great location and lots of windows for light. Staff is friendly and helpful. It’s within walking distance of many apartments so it’s convenient when we come to DC to visit our daughter.
