Sokrates Greek Taverna on Winter Hey Lane in Horwich is a relaxed, friendly restaurant serving dishes from Greece, Cyprus and Eastern Mediterranean. We had a lovely relaxed meal in a friendly pleasant atmosphere I did comment to my husband how happy the staff looked working together and the food was amazing , a bit of a drive god us but we wil definitely be returning

Great food, good value with friendly service . We would have stayed longer but closed early on Christmas Eve to get ready for them opening again next day

Every time I go it’s amazing, not once have I been and not enjoyed the food the atmosphere the service. Nick and Christine efficient fabulous nothing is too much trouble. Get the Meze it’s good value for money and everything on it is amazing
