Pete, the head chef, brings his most recent culinary experience and creativity from California to NOLO’s and The Basement Bar. His culinary vision and passion for local ingredients will help create the new modern comfort food.The team shares a passion for the restaurant and bar industry and sees an opportunity to fill gaps in the market in the North Loop.

We had a nice date night. Food was good. Service was nice. Overall would recommend. Shareable plates is always a favorite for my wife and I because we like to try a lot of different things. Would recommend that to anyone who goes to eat there. Want to go back and try the tasting menu.

Awesome server, brought out complimentary sparkling wine when they found out it was our anniversary. Tri-tip was cooked perfectly but $200+ for a couple of drinks, an app and 2 meals is steep, especially when 1 of the meals was an $18 sausage. Would return with a group and share plates but better options out there for romantic dinner
