Restaurants near Hancock Field

We found Fresco is a great place to grab a bite to eat between walking the beautiful Japanese gardens. Our visit last Friday was terrific. Wonderful recommendations and service from Jasmine. The food and Sangria's tastefully simple and delicious.

We have visited the Velvet Buffalo Restaurant on various occasions and we always leave extremely satisfied.

Our meals were delicious. Between the four of us we had salmon, a steak, and two pasta dishes. Our soup was hot and very tasty. The salads were served fresh and the dressing had just the right amount of blue cheese crumbles. Our meals included warm rolls. We shared a nice bottle of wine. Our server was well trained and friendly. He was able to answer all of our questions about the menu.

Carla has become our favorite server. She is personable, funny, and very conscientious. The dishes we had were outstanding. We love the drunken shrimp appetizer. For the first time, we had the crab, shrimp, and lobster bisque, which was so savory and satisfying. My sis had the dinner portion filet mignon. They prepared it according to her special instructions. It was perfect. She loved the Mary's potatoes but felt the broccoli was undercooked. I had the butternut squash gnocchi, which was terrific. It was the perfect autumn dish. We shared the caramel brulee--so delicious and decadent. I love Coopershawk because it is a delightful place to bring good friends and family. Their menu accommodates all tastes and dietary restrictions. Also, their sheltered patio is comfortable for al fresco dining.

Francesco's is a beautiful restaurant with delicious food! It has a wonderful selection and food and wine. We'll definitely be back.
