Restaurants near Hamilton Station

The atmosphere is charming and eclectic. Our waiter (John Krazinski doppleganger) was friendly, attentive and helpful. We shared the Farmhouse salad and thoroughly enjoyed it with the complimentary house made multigrain bread and cinnamon butter, hummus and herb infused oil. Our chosen entrees were the sea bass over a roasted medley of summer vegetables and Fergole (pearl shaped pasta) with Maine scallops and grilled shrimp in a delectable brown butter sauce. Both were full of flavor and texture. We devoured every bite. We could not have been more pleased.

This restaurant is a 10! From entering the restaurant to dessert! Party of 6, service was fabulous, lots of choices for entrees. Selected the compressed pear watercress salad, so many flavors, absolutely delicious. I had sea scallops with a lobster mashed potato, over the top. The view is the best in Bar Harbor. This was our last night in this quaint coastal town and the reading room was the perfect ending. Highly recommend

As always one of our favorites. Menu choices galore. Efficient caring service. Quality preparation and flavor. Mussels, salad, meatloaf, painkillers and great carrot cake. Slightly disappointed there was no monkfish, neither in the chowder nor cioppino so I chose otherwise. Definitely a must try. We’ve enjoyed McKay’s for better than 2 years. So glad the 1896 structure was moved rather than torn down! Imagine the lost history.

Absolutely amazing view! Really worth the trip. But just note parking is $35. If you don’t have a park pass, you need to buy one. We had our dog outside in the outdoor dining area and it was really fabulous! Really really worth it.

Excellent staff…..from host to waiters to bartender. Food was excellent and served to each diner’s request i.e. steaks med rare, etc. Special shout-out to Hunter (bar) and Patrick (wait). We’re a local family that will frequent Le Brun. Staff made our anniversary celebration memorable.
