Our server was Brad. He reviewed the menu, no specials. My husband had the salmon, it came with broccolini which he doesn’t care for. No substitute was offered. The entree was $48. We thought for that price a substitute should not have been an issue. I had the pork chop which was outstanding. The salmon was ok nothing to write home about. The total experience was very nice since the view overlooked the mountains. Not sure I would go back simply because I think resort restaurants are very pricey. Everything is ala carte. There are nice restaurants in Asheville that we could go to. This was our first trip to Asheville and the Grove park inn, so live and learn. The grove park is an awesome hotel with lots of history. We will be back.

Reece was our server. He was very attentive and gave us great selections. My husband had the shrimp and grits and a Caesar salad. Both were delicious and plentiful. I had the kale salad with blackened shrimp. The portions were huge. Very tasty. We also started with the Thai lettuce wraps. The restaurant is lovely and we sat on the porch area. Great view of the mountains! It’s somewhat pricey but it’s a resort . If you want a casual eating experience I would recommend this restaurant.

Wow! What an amazing experience! We had reservations for two for the prime rib dinner buffet, and the three rooms of food were a feast for the eyes and palate! It was difficult to pace ourselves, as we wanted to try so many dishes but it was relaxing to sit and enjoy the view of the mountains while we took our time sipping our cocktails and sampling a huge variety of hot and cold plates of the delicious spread. I especially enjoyed the clams casino and the brisket. The staff were very attentive and friendly and we had a lovely evening.
