Nice- it was quiet but went off season. Definitely a nice spot

We dined in the pretty sunroom. Had Delicious Easter buffet- best we have had in 5 years. Veggies, meats cooked well. Mashed potatoes yummy too.nice fruit, cheese table. Fudge cake amazing. Please pass on to Chefs. Waitress was a sweetheart. We topped well despite buffet. The piano player totally surprised us with Queens Bohemian Rhapsody! Loved it. Please tell him. Weather cold but sunny, windy (like our House, drafty windows). but view nice.

The food was excellent. The Oyster chowder was about the best I ever had. The Ceasar salad was nice & fresh. I liked the fact the dressing was on the side, so I was able to determine how much I wanted to add in. My Sirloin was done perfectly. I really enjoyed the red wine reduction. For dessert we did both the Raspberry Sorbet & the Brownie Sundae. Both were great. Good to see Chef Val & his staff really hitting their stride. Basically, I feel he's about the best chef in the White Mtn. region.

Beet salad was delicious! Had the filet with mushrooms. Perfectly cooked to order and very tender. Love the polenta that comes with it. Service was excellent, and this particular evening it was very quiet. Can be a bit chilly in the restaurant, but we dress accordingly. Highly recommend for a really good meal or special occasions!

Great overall - only that some of the dishes were so drenched in sauce that it was overpowering.
