We were first timers. I wanted to take my husband for a birthday surprise experience. He loves wine, so I began researching wineries in NC within a 2 hour drive from us. Do not bother looking any further. We were welcomed and seated at the bar for our one on one tasting with Maggie. She was knowledgeable, personable, and an absolute delight! And to my surprise, the reds that I typically do not care for were all very good, so I can no longer say I only like white sweeter wines. My husband enjoyed them all! Afterwards, we were seated outside at a lovely table where we enjoyed crab dip, Caesar salad with grilled shrimp, and steak tips with fries. Everything was delicious. We each chose one of our favorite new wines to enjoy with our food. We ended the meal with the limoncello cake, the perfect light dessert for a hot day. We can’t wait to return. Thank you Maggie, Diego, and especially owner J Ray for a most enjoyable Saturday at JoLo.

This was our first dining experience with Six and Sky and we SO ENJOYED IT! We started with the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer which we inhaled. For dinner, my husband had the sesame encrusted tuna, asparagus, and wild rice — all prepared perfectly and with delicious seasoning of rice and veggies. I had the eggplant parmigiana which was outstanding— the sauce was exceptional, and I highly recommend this dish! Both entrees were large portions requiring take home boxes. We had nonalcoholic mocktails, which were cool and refreshing. We weren’t hungry for dessert, but were gifted the beignets with chocolate and raspberry sauce. Lovely flaky outer shell but uncooked inside, which resulted in warm raw dough inside a lovely flaky pastry shell. No big deal — easy mistake to make! The pricing was appropriate for the quantity and quality, no doubt. Very efficient, polite, and professional staff. So nice to see clean servers moving with some urgency to benefit the customers. The restaurant itself is beautiful and you must check out the “Sky” floor on the roof. It was great celebrating our anniversary in a restaurant that made us feel like we were in a completely different town! We will be back!! Thanks y’all!! ❤️🍾🥂

As always, the food was delicious, services were great. We did not get to sit outside due to the weather but they put us beside a window that had a wonderful view of the mountains. We always have a wonderful time at Chateau Morrisette and this day did not disappoint.

I thought stables was good! I don’t think I realized what I was getting into before I booked it, and it was a bit kitchy, but it made for a perfect night out while staying at Primland and the live music was great. Just know the food options are not light!
