Outstanding service, lovely and delicious food and drink parings in a beautiful setting!

Our server was exceptional (table 56)! She was Warm, friendly, offered helpful suggestions and we never felt rushed… We live in the ‘hood and are glad to have such a wonderful restaurant among the many other West Portal gems!! We’ll be back soon! Congrats on being open almost a whole year (February 5th🎉🥳!!).

Totally amazing!!! Only comment I would say is that being a later seating 9:30 they really pushed food on us before we were done with the previous course. Not in such a manner that truly interrupted the experiance but we struggled to keep up with the two bottles of very special wines be brought to pair with the courses. Food was perfect and the server was spectacular! I love the policy of whosever card is first is the one that is charged it really keeps the arguing to a minimum. Sat at the front door with party of six and I was worried but never did we feel a draft or to much traffic really magnificent. Not sure if they have dessert but we were never offered a menu for it or ask about it. We did get a bowl of ice cream for the birthday which was very generous. Can’t wait to come back soon to see how this institution continues to improve! Truly can’t imagine many ways they could!

The cauliflower was an amazing combination of tastes and texture. Our server recommended the delicious cornbread as a side and did not disappoint. Despite being smaller than expected, the basteeya was tasty in its wonderfully flaky shell, but probably a fine portion for one person (we ate family style). The braised lamb shank fell off the bone and rounded out our meal. Don't forget to try the imaginative non-alcoholic drinks and date cake (not too sweet). They warn you in advance about the 6% SF Health surcharge.

Service was amazing all around from the moment we walked in being greeted by the host to updates when our table would be ready. We got lucky to be seated right next to the fireplace. Service was attentive and often throughout the evening and was more than we could ever ask for. I think our server was named Jeremy (sorry if I’m mistaken) and he was fantastic. Excellent, excellent job Fiorella. We will be back and telling everyone.
