Food and service at this representative of a ubiquitous chain is always good. At 9:30 pm on a Saturday night, it was quite quiet, but that’s normal for Salisbury. There is music, which is unnecessary, intrusive and detracts from the atmosphere of a French restaurant it tries to cultivate. There was very little choice of rosé wine which, given the restaurant was featuring southern French cuisine, was a shame. Luckily, the reliability of the menu (both the Breton fish stew and the duck à l’orange were excellent) and the friendliness of the service, outweighed these drawbacks. Overall, it makes an excellent contribution to Salisbury’s amenities and we recommend it.
