Outstanding decor, food and service. Best place on the island.

This is a very good pub and restaurant with friendly staff and good food. A little pricey but probably good value for money. I would recommend it. It fails a 5 star review as there is no low alcohol bitters. Adams ghost ship is no longer stocked. But there are others like old speckled hen. Bottles preferred not cans, I am thinking of Brew Dog.

Early dinner with friends. Lovely outside on the terrace on a warm sunny evening. Enjoyed most of our food, although salmon was flabby rather than crispy skin, didn't look very appealing. Large slab of herb butter didn't melt in so it was a bit cold. However burgers were excellent. We had a voucher so good value! Our server Katie was great

The food was excellent we all had different meals. Not a busy restaurant on this Thursday night but that meant it was not noisy so you could hear one another speaking.

As a coeliac it is fantastic to have a restaurant with such a wide variety of gluten free dishes. We had starters, duck as a second course and 3 mains with fried and boiled rice and everything was perfectly cooked, although a couple of the dishes good have done with being a little hotter, but taste wise fantastic.
