Our Farm-to-Table Restaurant offers fresh food focused on local sourcing and home-made recipees. Our beef is raised in Holgate, OH and processed locally. The cheese on our boards is made from local, whole milk in Hicksville, OH. We use 100% California olive oil in our oil based dressings - it is not cut with canola/soy/vegetable oils. Our flatbreads come in at less than 30 carbs each. We are known for our cocktails, particularly our Old Fashioneds and our Seasonal Speicialty Drinks. Our building was constructed in 1871, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019 and completely renovated to expose it's historic lines and features in 2021. We are within Defiance's DORA District and directly across from Triangle Park in Defiance's historic downtown. Step back in time, window shop the downtown and then come and dine.     The atmosphere of Hideout 125 was wonderful! The restaurant is quiet with intimate seating. Our server, Mickey, was the best. She was friendly, professional, interesting and fun! I had the 14oz ribeye which was cooked to perfection! My wife had the fillet medallions, also perfectly prepared. Our appetizer salads and side were all excellent! They even surprised us with a special dessert for our anniversary, two small chocolate cups, shaped like tulips filled with a raspberry mousse. Even the spoon was edible, made of chocolate! This was a wonderful meal and evening! We will be back!

    Loved Farmhouse! Our second time there. Not a big place, so make sure you make reservations on Open Table. Food was good both times. I had the tuna first time (I know, in S MI!), but surprisingly good! Last night had the pork chop, though it was good it was right on cusp of being overdone. Chicken Parm was good via our guests. Definitely will be back!
