Gather at the Blue Pig Tavern, our distinctive restaurant tucked in the corner of Congress Hall. Known for hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites, its name derives from a gambling parlor sited in Congress Hall in the mid-1800s. Earlier still, in the 1700s, Elias Hughes operated a tavern for whalers on this site. It was the first tavern in Cape May. Amazing creative food, superb friendly service (thank you Maddie). We shared raw bar and small plate items—recommended so you can try more things. Tuna tartare, scallop ceviche, beets with burrata, coconut shrimp and soft shell crab (huge) all great. One of the two or three best meals we have had at the beach in the last few years, even with all the great restaurants here.

Very impressed with this hidden gem. It's a bit hidden within the Harrington Raceway casino, but the noise from the casino doesn't carry in to the dining room. Foodwise, it's on-par with Ruth's Chris Steakhouse (as is the service and pricing). The crabmeat cocktail is fantastic - we can't get enough. The steaks are always perfectly grilled to the correct temperature. And they feature some scrumptious daily specials which have never disappointed. But the a la carte side of brussel sprouts is AMAZING...almost like candy they are so good. Service is top-notch. Attentive but not overbearing - very professional. Our server (Steve) is quite knowledgeable of the menu, specials, and other offerings and is happy to accomodate every request. He's always well-groomed and well-spoken. He never allows beverage glasses to go empty, and empty dishes are wisked away promptly. I understand he is a professional server of nearly 20-years and understands proper dining and service etiquette...so difficult to find servers like that today. Prices are on par with any top-notch steakhouse, except for a soft drink, which is less than that at a fast food or casual dining restaurant (just $2). We come from out-of-state at least once a month to visit Bonz and have never been disappointed. It's very consistent across the board. The only regret we have is that it is not open on Monday and Tuesday. (If you're planning on dining there on the weekend or during weekdays around 6 P.M. (dinner hour), reservations are strongly encouraged.)

Our first time at Tisha’s and we were celebrating a special birthday. The food was amazing - especially the Fried Calamari (tender & fresh) and Seafood Risotto (melt in your mouth scallops, shrimp & clam in tasty sauce). The service was excellent from the moment we sat down and the dining room had a casual elegance that set the stage for a memorable evening.

Excellent food, great waitstaff. For the first time I marked that it was a special occasion when booking on OpenTable. Because it was our anniversary, they brought us free champagne and our dessert plates had Happy Anniversary written in chocolate. The main courses were excellent (lamb chops and halibut). The desserts were incredible. Drinks are always good here. Only thing we don't love is when you get a booth in the bar area. Can get a little loud but the back dining area was full.
