Rí Rá is located in an historic bank building, designed by Boston based Harper & West, that was completed in 1931. The pub opened for the first time in March 1999, and was extended in 2002 with the addition of the Library area. In February 2012, The Whiskey Room opened its doors. As you enter Rí Rá, you can imagine yourself walking through a door that leads you across the pond to experience the best pubs of Ireland. The pub interiors were salvaged and restored in Ireland prior to being shipped to Vermont. We are proud to showcase a unique and genuine Irish pub in the heart of Burlington.

Best place to eat close by. The menu is diverse enough without being overwhelming the staff and building are authentic and I was able to be seated with 8 people within 10 min of my seating time.

One of my absolute favorite places to dine in Vermont, this restaurant feels like a homecoming every time I visit. No trip back is complete without a stop here. From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the thoughtfully crafted menu, everything about this place is a delight. The food is consistently excellent, the service is genuine and attentive, and the entire experience leaves you feeling both nourished and welcomed. It’s more than a meal—it’s a tradition I look forward to time and again.

Sugar Hill Inn is a great destination, we had dinner on the porch, beautiful night great food, service, chef Val is still putting together great meals. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in for a great treat.
