Restaurants near Festival Square

We wanted to find a cozy restaurant to enjoy our 7 year anniversary and Baron's did not disappoint. Our waiter was extremely friendly and did an excellent job making us feel at home and welcome. Service exceeded expectations. The restaurant was also very cozy and very well decorated. The food was also very well done. The Tomahawk was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The place is a bit pricy but it was well worth it for such a major celebration. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We ordered the "baller" Omakase. There we unique appetizers plus a main course with accompaniments. The meats were grilled using a traditional Korean grill. Utensils were metal chopsticks as used in Korea plus a pair of tongs for transferring the meats from serving dish to grill and from grill to plate. Overall this was a tremendous experience.

This was our first time to eat at Juniper. We went early (around 5:00 p.m.) for dinner to celebrate my birthday. I ordered the tasting menu which included goat cheese, honey and salami with bread, sweet carrot soup, trout, beef stroganoff, chocolate pie and I was given a free serving of creme brulee for my birthday. My husband ordered the tenderloin filet. The servings were not small. In fact, by the time the beef stroganoff was brought out I was so full I had to take most of it home. It was all delicious. The environment was very quiet and relaxing and our waiter was fantastic even though she claimed it was her first night to work on the floor. We will be back for sure.

Very cool Speak Easy Vibe. Wonderful food. Wait staff was attentive but also didn't interrupt our conversation.
