Restaurants near Farlin Park

Charging 2.99% for card at an upscale restaurant doesn’t make sense.

Very hospitable staff with cordial and efficient table service. Our meal was nicely paced by our server which is an important part of dining. Ordered the Mangiare bread service and calamari tossed with sweet & spicy cherry peppers for our antipasta. We loved the fried peppers mixed in with the calamari! Disappointed that the beet salad and cauliflower dish were no longer availabe on the menu (seasonal rotation we assume). Our main orders were the Giant Meatball and a side of Roasted Carrots over whipped ricotta, Chicken & Pesto Gnocchi which had a lovely silky pesto, Crab & Sweet Corn Mezzaluna although the crab was not very detectable becuase the pasta was a bit too thick and one of Mangiare's best sellers, Chicken Parmesan which had a generous portion of tender chicken on linguine with marinara. Overall an enjoyable dinner at Mangiare and worth a return visit to check out the other menu offerings.

The fillet was excellent. The French bread and butter was excellent. The chop salad with blue cheese dressing very good. The chocolate cake for dessert was gigantic and will be eating on it for another week. And the Moscato was very fine. 

This experience with friends was very good. Everyone liked their food, the quiet environment let to a long meal and discussion, which was what we were looking for with former neighbors. The price was a little higher than other favorites, but within reason.
