Restaurants near Grand Geneva Resort and Spa

We had a wonderful time the food was amazing. The servers were friendly and we will return after our wedding in June.

We generally love this restaurant! Last night, however, I’m giving 4 rather than 5 stars solely due to the behavior of the head hostess. We arrived 30 minutes ahead of our reservation time so we could enjoy a cocktail at the bar. Bartenders, Ralph and Kaitlyn, are amazing, as was our table server and bus help! The junior hostess tried to seat us 20 minutes before our reservation. We had just ordered oysters, and said we’d be ready for our table at our assigned time. At our time…on the dot…the head hostess came to rush us to our table, as we were finishing our oysters and clearing the bar bill. She actually stood behind me…glaring…arms folded…making me feel like a child “in trouble”…rather than someone spending more than $300 for a nice evening. We didn’t even get to finish the oysters we paid for! It was rude and annoying. I chose not to make an issue, and understand they are busy and need to turn tables, but this was over the top. It will be some time before we return, I’m afraid. A shame.

There is a good variety of menu choices. The steak I had was prepared to my satisfaction. The server was attentive. There is a lot to like about the location. Make sure the flashlight on your phone works though as it is dark inside.

Everything was superb! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The server was very knowledgable about the menu. We ordered the ribeye and walleye. Both were excellent. Some modifications to the menu were requested with no issues. We sat at a window table with an incredible view of the lake.

Food was amazing and service was over the top awesome!
