One of the best restaurants in New Haven if not the best! Absolutely best spot for ambience!

This was our first visit in a while to Zinc and now I am am surprised we haven’t been back sooner. The food, service and lively atmosphere were all very enjoyable. We came for Restaurant Week and we all enjoyed our meals thoroughly. I had the butternut squash soup, the salmon dish and the brownie with frozen yogurt; all options were lovely. My mother and sister who visited with me both raved over the soup into the next day and we all vowed we would make sure to come back to Zinc more often.

Had a very delicious lunch with two of our out of town friends. All four of us enjoyed eggplant rollatini, fried calamari and JohnDory seabass with spinach. Portions are very large. Our server Mirel was great. We all agreed this was one of the best restaurant meals we've recently enjoyed. Be back soon!

Highly recommend Cast iron chef. The staff were all extremely friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. It is expensive but the quality of food is exceptional.

Ate outside. Beautiful early October evening. Melt in your mouth handmade gnocchi and squash ravioli with brown butter. Also love the arugula beet salad. Always a lovely evening out and a wonderful meal of delicious handmade pasta.
