"Four of us met at Roots and Revelry for dinner reservations around 730. The PB&J (pork belly, cashew butter, and quince) was the perfect balance of sweet and savory. It was phenomenal. The rest of the meal was delicious as well, but the PB&J will be remembered for years. We also had the lumpia as an appetizer, which were crunchy and flavorful. The dipping sauce was quite tasty. Seared duck was tender and flavorful. The steak was lackluster- no real prominent or strong flavors. I thought it was overall bland. The roasted chicken was similar. I didn’t try the fried pork ribs but was told they were phenomenal. We had the “breakfast for dinner” for dessert. It was the perfect balance of sweet with the sweet cream on the side. The bread pudding was a little too firm on top, as if it had been baked too long."See more
