- TTeresavipWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews5.0Dined todayDinner at the bar. Server was delightful and knowledgeable and Italian. Made great pairing recommendation that we probably wouldnt have made without his advice. The vongole en croute appetizer is huge - feels like it should lumped in with pizzas or mains but it is not to be missed. I find that Grilled octopus is hard to pull off and they do it very well.More infoChe Fico Parco MenloPrice: Expensive• Italian• Menlo Park•4.5

- SSimoneSan Francisco Bay Area •20 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWhat a treat it always is to eat at Evvia! A friend and I had a catch-up lunch there today after a busy month of not seeing each other, and we started with some prosecco and a terrific artichoke souvlaki that also included chunks of eggplant, which we'd never had but found really tasty. We also had the roasted beets atop skordalia which was similarly yummy. For our mains we had the lamb riblets, grilled octopus, and zucchini cakes, and we both agreed they were plentiful and perfectly suited to the warm day as well. The lamb was nicely crusty on the outside and fall-off-the-bone soft and flavorful. We were sufficiently full that we had only frappes for dessert, and those were perfect endings for our meal. The service from Thad was excellent, and our seats outside permitted us sufficient quiet for us to catch up on our respective trips and personal lives for the last month. It's not my first time at Evvia, and it still remains a perfect location to get together with a friend and enjoy a great meal. I always rave about Evvia to friends who haven't been--and those who have been always join me in its praise.More infoEvviaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Palo Alto•4.8
