Absolutely the best meal eaten out in a long time. Our party had the scallop appetizer followed by entrees of swordfish and Scottish salmon. Everything was cooked to perfection with wonderful flavors without anything feeling overwhelmingly rich or heavy. Heather was our server and she was attentive but not at all obtrusive. It was a very cold night but the tent area was nicely heated and we were comfortable even seated near the entry door. Overall it was a lovely dining experience.

We were celebrating our 42 Anniversary. The waiter started out great but must have gotten oven whelmed with a few more tables. The food was amazing..I got the filet migon it was perfect. And a salad. Husband got a ribeye steak done perfect. And a huge dish of mashed potatoes… after dinner we had to get the fried banana split., outstanding!! Something new to us. No drinks. We are not drinkers. But glad we didn’t because when the bill came. $157. Without a tip. And I leave 20%. It was a very nice surprise to celebrate there, but next year,,, we’ll have to wait and see how things go… thank you For letting us have the best steak ever…

Exceptional in every way …service is impeccable (thanks, Michele); food hit all the right notes (savory on the scallops and risotto; sweetness perfect on the crème brûlée). Charming ambience from the moment we walked in). Love it!

This is our second year in a row going to The Wooden Nickel for Thanksgiving dinner. It was an excellent choice once again. Our turkey meal was quite tasty. However, the real standout was the outstanding service we received from Maddie. She was genuinely warm, attentive, and efficient. Her service certainly helped make our visit an enjoyable one.

I haven't been here in a hot minute and was surprised by the lack of a crowd. We were in and out, served quickly by a very cool server, and the value is good. Is it the best seafood in town, probably not. (Except for those biscuits, though). The twin lobster tails were good for the money, though!
