Had a wonderful birthday dinner for my friend. Our server was awesome and the chef even greeted us with a little glass of champagne which was so special. I love this restaurant!

Today my son and I lunched at the Coppers Hawk in Indianapolis, IN. We had a very good food experience with mine being a Plain 'Ol Salad with a Salmon protein from the life Balance menu and my sone having the Chicken Giardiniera from the regular lunch menu. Both entrees were perfectly prepared and were delicious. Our server Isabelle was very capable and we appreciated her care and assistance with our selections. Our only challenge this visit was in getting seated which we specifically requested a table and not a booth. Unfortunately I think we missed in our communication and ended up in a booth anyway. Not something we couldn't work with so we let it go. It did not create any negatives for us but it did impact the rating here by a small amount. Overall a very nice meal at a very nice restaurant.

Food was excellent! Very nice touch of acknowledging our anniversary and referring to us as Mr & Mrs (last name). The little anniversary cake with the words “Happy Anniversary” written on the plate in chocolate was also a nice touch. Server was attentive. However, our server spoke somewhat softly & it was difficult to hear him as we were sitting in a u-shaped booth facing a table of 6 business men. It was actually hard for us to hear our own conversation due to theirs. I think the booth was intended to present as intimate but due to the 6 men in front of us, it was not. Manager did stop by, wish us Happy Anniversary and welcomed us. Overall, a great experience-it was the noise level & the fact that we were facing those gentlemen that took some of the specialness away.
