We had a great time at the Playbook Commons on Friday 05/16/2025. Upon arrival we were greeted by a throng of very happy and eager host/hostesses who directed made us feel welcome and quickly directed us to our table. The service was a little slow, as the restaurant/bar were extremely busy, but we were in no rush and it was nice to have felt little pressure into ordering - in fact, our server(s) gave us a lot of advice and perspective and recommendations on what we might enjoy. Our food was great, we especially liked the Focaccia and the Lasagna. It helped (a little) that the Leaf's pulled off a surprising game 6 win in their playoff matchup against the Panthers We will definitely come back, and we will recommend Playbook Commons to our friends. Spent a perfect Mother’s Day brunch at Valerie with my mum — the service was warm and attentive, the food absolutely divine, and the view of the city breathtaking. The live jazz set the mood beautifully. An unforgettable experience from start to finish!

Went here after an event at the exhibition on game night. Place was busy but service was friendly and attentive. We made a reservation for a table of six and were sat in a great spot with little wait even though we arrived early. Staff will do everything they can to accomadate and provide a great meal to patrons. Was a loud night but the leafs finals were on. Food and drinks were great
