Steeped in history, this location played a pivotal role in the nail-making and shipbuilding industries, which were essential in supporting America during the War of 1812. In fact, it was this significance that led the British Royal Navy to launch an attack here via the S.S. Nimrod on June 13, 1814.

Chicken dumplings to start were delicious. Hubby got the Delmonico steak and was cooked to his liking. I had the scallops, perfectly seared over a vegetable risotto and set on top of a lobster bisque sauce. Delicious!! Went on a Monday night in May and wasn’t really busy, but when the weather warms up, I am sure it will be crazy busy. Nice view of the River. Julianna was our waitress and did an excellent job.
