The dinner was such a delight. Derek was a great guide through the menu and the beverage program. The food was innovative and delicious. We started with pan seared scallops which were really nice, macadamia nut and parmesan sauce was a very tasty presentation. Then we dined on Pork Milanese and Chicken Carciofi. Both were well put together, presented, and very tasty. The proteins were accompanied by excellent side dishes that complimented each plate. The wine list, though not large, was expertly crafted to highlight wines that go well with the menu. Overall, it was a great experience and the next time we are in Lava Hot Springs we will be sure to visit again!

This is a local chain (5 locations), and I normally don't review chain restaurants, but this is the exception. The owner is doing a great job. We went over since it was next to the hotel and close, and was excellent! We had a difficult time picking our meal since there were so many good options. My wife really liked her dragon tails, and my Idaho trout was excellent. Andres was our server, and he was great. He was friendly, checked back often, brought refills without being asked and pre bussed the table. Also, the food runners DID NOT aution off the food, which is normally what happens. Just goes to show it's not hard to give good service, just lazy for not. The prices are not bad, and they do add a 2% credit card fee. Absolutely a must if you are near any of their locations, you won't be disappointed.
