Restaurants near Edward Winslow House Museum

We came on the 4th of July for lunch. They also have a verbal kids menu, make sure to ask if you kids in your party. We were a party of 6. We had oysters (excellent and fresh), Caesar salad with grilled chicken, Mediterranean Platter (on special) with cauliflower toasted pitas (baba ganoush really flavorful, it came with fresh tzatziki and hummus and fresh vegetables and Greek cheeses), stuffed peppers (three adults could have shared this). The stuffed peppers were loaded with meat. It was not busy. We also had iced coffee (surprisingly good). We were too stuffed for dessert. We sat under the covered outdoor patio, weather was fabulous. Bathrooms outside on patio are porta-potties but you can go inside for the regular bathrooms. The music was slightly louder since it wasn’t crowded. My Dad had to turn down his hearing aids and my son needed ear plugs. Overall a good experience and really great food.

Great food. We had arroz con pato ( rice with duck) , plantains , empanadas and salad. Everything 10/10 except empanadas. They are fried , not baked. Overall 10/10. every bite is a feast of unexpected flavors. We will be back. The service was also amazing.

I rarely write reviews but our experience at Salt was extraordinary! The halibut with lemongrass curry was the best I’d ever had. And the truffle ramen noodles (we added chicken) was outstanding. Followed by the chocolate cremux (sinfully yummy) and a tiny tini, it was the perfect dinner!

Excellent food and service. Maleek ( spelling?) our server was outstanding.

service was slow.. despite it being a typically busy night. drinks didn’t come until after our apps, waitress was less than apologetic. i’ve had really good experiences at the restaurant in the past so hoping this was a one time off night!
