Great space, staff is welcoming and efficient, the food was fantastic and the prices were more than fair for the quality. The cocktails were excellent, with all liquor distilled by Founding Farmers nearby. Highly recommend the steak frites (not a traditional steak, very thin but tender and delicious), the shrimp and grits and the prosciutto farm bread.

We had the cookbook tasting menu. There is a good selection. A bit pricey. The food tasted great. At times the bussers were a bit too attentive; clearing too quickly. Our server started off a bit lacklustre but warmed up towards the second half of our meal. We also ordered a cocktail. It was nice and strong. I would come back if I’m in the DC area again.

We sat in the Grant Room and BK was our waiter. We started with a peach bourbon sangria, which was wonderful. We shared a dozen assorted Potomac oysters, which were like silk. My husband enjoyed his huge crabcake and my meatloaf did not disappoint. Portions were very generous & prices were reasonable. We enjoyed walking around the restaurant and viewing the gas chandeliers, oyster bar, and main bar – it’s a beautiful restaurant.
