Beautiful food would of liked my chips cooked a bit more but that’s personal choice we thouragly enjoyed it

Recommended by friends and went as birthday meal for me and my wife. Booked online no problem, though as it was a Wednesday evening, we could have got in anyway. It's a small-plates tapas bar midweek which suited us perfectly, as being of a very mature age, we can't always manage 3 courses these days! Food was first class, especially the superb Sticky Ribs and Lamb Ragu. We just had to have a second helping of the ribs! Service was as good as the food, being prompt and friendly and prices were reasonable in our opinion, so we have no hesitation in giving 5 stars across the board and recommending Home to anyone looking for a great, informal dining experience. Maghull has needed more decent tapas-style bars for some time and this certainly hits the spot, so if this standard is maintained, we're sure visitors won't be disappointed.

Sat in the new extension part rather than original pub,our table was 12.30 so quiet when arrived but filled up as time went on. Staff polite and attentive, soup was tasty and hot, garlic bread with cheese nicely done and hot as well. Roast beef and turkey dinners very nice, which included large yorkshire pud and pig in blanket along with enough roast spuds and something a bit different a cheese and leak soft rosti?, only had one dessert the crumble( could have done with more custard for size of crumble dish but my friend who had it said it was ok as he couldn't finish it all, had coffee to finish off with which thought good value for size of cup ( only £2.50) All in all for a first visit very satisfied will be back again to try something different in the future
