Several years ago, I decided that my future in the restaurant business would most likely not remain in the realm of fine dining and gourmands, but would rather lean towards the style of restaurant that I found myself frequenting most often - places that provided consistency and quality at a price that was fair for the quality of the food and experience. Public House plays to the comforts of good, solid food, while applying the principles of premium food products to a more casual setting. You will find all the fish is delivered from Foley’s in Boston, high quality steaks and a rotating selection of vegetable sides that are true to the region and season. Elsie’s has dramatically upped the quality of their food and is now as good as any place in Chattanooga. I had the crab appetizer and it was amazing! I then had the stuffed quail and it was outstanding as well! My girlfriend had the salmon and she loved it! Our waitress was very attentive and kept our wine glasses full. They had 2 desserts and my girlfriend and I got both to cap off an outstanding dinner! Will be back soon!

Food was excellent! Our server Briana was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly! She not only helped us navigate the menu, but answered questions about the Chattanooga area. We were visiting Chattanooga for our anniversary. I highly recommend the Stir!
