Restaurants near Easton Newberry Sports Complex

 we were a party of six with Reservations at seven and we were promptly seated by our favorite table near the bar. Our server was just terrific and johnny on the spot checking up on us. The food was very good as usual including the braised lamb, several had the flounder special And the duck breast as well as the hen. The flounder was fresh and very good but really needed to be served with a bur Blanc sauce of some type to give it some moisture. We also had desserts. As usual a wonderful evening at Mildreds.

Very beautiful setting. Did chef tasting menu and everything was high quality and varied. The cost is high. It is great food but it is still a high cost. Good service and feels intimate. All drinks are expensive too but similarly very good. Good for a special occasion.

I’m never disappointed at Marks. It’s one of the few places in Gainesville with professionally trained servers. The wine list is exceptional and very fairly priced. My surf and turf (butter poached lobster tail and petite filet) was perfectly cooked. My companion felt his Strip steak was fatty, and his concern was promptly addressed by the manager. I cannot recommend Marks highly enough. My Go To special occasion place 😎

Our waitress was fantastic when we ate at 4pm on Dec. 3rd. The steak was godly! The smoking old-fashioned’s were amazing! We got a dessert that even had a little chocolate Happy Birthday sign and a candle it was perfect!

Comfortable chairs and great view. Lovely evening.
