Restaurants near Downtown Monterey Days Inn

Great service - we sat outdoors on the deck with plenty of heaters and blankets. The portions are very large and food was delicious.

I don't remember ever having a better experience in a restaurant anywhere. The food, the service, the setting all came together that only an inspired, talented, and dedicated owners could have created and have been doing for decades. Although were aware of The Sardine Factory for a long time, this was our first visit, but certainly not our last! Bravo to everyone.

Made reservations. No wait. Went in for a 94th birthday, was disappointed the birthday name was not printed on menu like it has been in the past. Server was awesome. Attentive, pleasant, professional. Great food. Amazing dessert.

Nice bar/dinner area with an outside courtyard with fireplace. Mix of hotel guests and locals. Atmosphere was very nice with several spots for quiet dinning. Food was very good and the service was exceptional. First time there for both my wife and I and we thought it was a great value. I would go back and take others when family/friends come to town.

Everything we had was absolutely delicious, and the server was so gracious. The building is charming and we even kind of wandered around to check out the whole thing. The liver moose toast is a must have! Only tiny bit of feedback is that I wish the first cocktail would have come out quicker than the first appetizer.
