Restaurants near Dowda Park

My husband and I had a great experience at Prime and Pearl. We travel frequently inside out of US and to Japan and have had various experience at steak restaurant and we never thought we would find such a gem in Gainesville. Our server, Diego, was outstanding. Timing, friendliness, service were all fantastic. We plan to visit frequently.

There was a natural gas smell very strong when we walked in. The hostess seemed perturbed that we asked about it assured us it was being g looked into and was safe. Waitress could not have been more attentive and pleasant. 1905 salad prepared table side was not as I have had it in the past. It was premade just adding lemon and Worcestershire sauce to it. It use to be all the ingredients were added in front of you. Overall it was good

Another wonderful meal at Amelia’s. Started the Ceasar salad and then on to entrees. My wife had the chicken Marsala and I enjoyed the grouper mugnaia. Finished the evening w the cheesecake. A very enjoyable dining experience. Our server, Rhianna was just a delight.

Really great place in Gainesville….this place would also be good in a bigger city….will definitely return
