Excellent restaurant overall. The waiter was fabulous and made great suggestions. The crab with pasta was incredible. Beautifully decorated. We sat on a booth near the window and it was quieter than just sitting in the regular section. Great waiters. Used OpenTable to get a table two days in advance. Highly recommend!!

We had a great booth straight back which was a little quieter than most of the room. Mike M was patient and did not rush us but was attentive and responsive to several dietary requests. The grilled salmon and salmon salad were both perfect. despite the crush of tourists, service was smooth from start to finish.

My grandma and I arrived at the founding farmer at 6:30 and our reservation was at 6:30. We had to wait 30 minutes because the place was packed. Aside from that the food, ambience and service was amazing. Even though it was busy the waitress was kind and patient. We also didn’t have to wait long for our food to come and the bill was under $50.

Can't do better than Kingbird. If you're going to the Kennedy Center, I highly recommend having dinner at the Kingbird. From a cordial greeting at the host stand to a "thank you for coming" as you leave. All kinds of cocktails and wine choices to meet your preferences. Appetizers as well as Entrees are large portions. You may want to share the Kale Caesar to begin your dining excursion. There is a prix fix 3 course dinner that I would recommend. Ask for Omar and Katie! We love them.
