Patrona Restaurant and Lounge is located in the heart of beautiful Ukiah, Mendocino County, California. Our building served as the town grocery store for over one hundred years. Now lovingly restored, it is softly lit with warm brick walls, filled with hand crafted tables from local artisans and run by a staff that cares. Our menu changes are based on today’s catch, what's fresh from the gardens, and local purveyors.

    Patrona just changed ownership, but the food still remains excellent! For starters, had a grain bread with sweet soft butter and potato croquettes with fig jam. Both starter dishes were delicious. For entrees we had chicken pot pie and a yellow curry dish. Both entrees were absolutely fantastic. Only constructive criticism would be to have more curry for the dish. The curry was gone before all the rice was consumed. Although 375 miles away from our home, we’ll be back to enjoy another meal at Patrona❣️

    5 Star Review For MICA! All of my experiences at MICA have been Fantastic! I have been very fortunate to enjoy several meals at MICA! Our servers, Brian and Dominic very professional and attentive. They presented themselves with confidence and attention to detail. The first night, I enjoyed ribeye which was prepared to perfection. The smashed potatoe had just the right amount of seasoning. I fell in love with the street corn! Including an opportunity to taste the braised bison ~ truly mouth watering! Let’s not forget dessert. The apple tart was deliciously paired with homemade rum ice cream. Another occasion, the apple tart was accompanied with horchata ice cream ~ just as delicious. At our next dinner, I enjoyed the miso street market fish with the perfect texture that practically melts in your mouth and was complimented with garlic mashed potatoes… My opportunity to try items from the bar menu was just as pleasing. They serve one of my favorites ~ fried brussels! My most recent & a very special night was Wednesday March 6th! It was my 60th birthday! Thank you Chef Alan for the best experience! We started off with specialty cocktails from the bar. The Mixologist has come up with some very creative works of art! Roederer Champagne was served we began making our dinner selections. This time the street corn was prepared like I’ve never seen it! Rather than a slice of corn on the cob, it was cut in long strips with a slight curl to it. Amazing! The bison cut was on the rib bone ~ very good! We also enjoyed the pork chop which was served with woven mashed potatoes. Wonderful meals!! Chef Alan could have chosen many places to start his dream as a chef after his MICHELIN Star training, but he decided to begin his journey here in Ukiah! I encourage our community to support this young man’s dream and embrace his culinary skills. Broaden your palate, tantalize your taste buds & try someplace new ~ make your reservations Today!
